Terms of Use

1. What Full Slate is

Full Slate is a football confidence pick 'em game for people you invite. You pick winners, rank your confidence, and compete on weekly and season standings. These terms cover the iPhone and browser apps. By creating an account or using the game, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including app analytics and crash reports; agreeing to these terms does not replace any separate consent required by law.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age required where you live, and have legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you are not yet an adult where you live, use Full Slate only with a parent or guardian's permission and involvement, as permitted by local law. Keep your Apple ID or e-mail sign-in secure, do not share your account, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. One person, one account.

You can request deletion from Profile → Delete account. If you own a pool with other members, transfer ownership or delete the pool first. The privacy policy explains what account deletion removes and how to request deletion of separately stored records.

3. Pools and commissioners

Pools are invite-only. Share invite codes and links only with people you want to join. The creator is the commissioner and can manage the pool using the controls available in the app, including removing members and transferring ownership. Commissioners cannot see other members' picks before the week locks. Leaving a pool removes your membership but keeps your past picks and results in its records; owners must transfer ownership or delete their pool before leaving.

4. No money

Full Slate currently has no purchases and does not take, hold, or pay out money, accept wagers, or offer cash prizes. Points and any lock-in or banking feature are game mechanics, not money, and cannot be redeemed for anything from Full Slate. We do not organize or administer outside financial arrangements, and these terms do not authorize unlawful wagering. Use the service only as permitted by the laws where you live.

5. Your content

Your display name and pool names are visible to pool members; poke messages are shown to their recipients. Keep them civil: no harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, unlawful content, or infringement of others' rights. Do not access other accounts without permission, disrupt the service, or exploit bugs to manipulate results. Commissioners can remove members, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms. The same rules apply to the Sunday Slate at thefullslate.app/c, which you can play without an account: your display name is visible to anyone with the slate's link, and your picks are shown to its players and followers after the first kickoff.

You retain your rights in content you submit and allow us to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the game, consistent with the privacy policy. To report a problem with a member or pool, use Profile → Report a problem or e-mail support@thefullslate.app.

6. Scores and data

Games, kickoff times, scores, and odds come from third-party sports data sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected. Follow the deadlines and scoring rules shown for your pool. Weekly picks lock at the week's first kickoff; a lock-in feature, where enabled, can affect points under its separate rules without reopening your original picks.

A pick or lock-in must be accepted by the server to count; an unfinished local draft is not a submission. Submit before the deadline and check the saved status. We may correct results to address feed corrections, scoring errors, or abuse. Sports information is provided for gameplay, not as financial or betting advice.

7. Availability

Full Slate is provided on an “as available” basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free sports data, or delivery of every notification. Outages and delays can prevent submissions, including near kickoff. Notifications are a convenience, not a guarantee that you will meet a deadline.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or takes away mandatory consumer rights.

8. Ending things

You can stop using Full Slate at any time and request account deletion as described above. We may suspend or close accounts for violations of these terms, security risks, or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe a restriction was a mistake.

We may change or discontinue features. When these terms change, we will update this page and its effective date, and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service; you can still contact us about your data and any rights you have.

9. The rest

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without taking away protections that the mandatory laws of your place of residence give you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Full Slate is not affiliated with the NFL, any team, or any sports data provider; team names identify games.

The operator and contact details for Full Slate are listed in the Privacy Policy.
