Common questions

How do I join a pool?

Ask the commissioner for the pool's invite code, then open the Pools tab and enter it. Pools are private; there is no public directory.

How do I get the app?

Join the early-access list for an iPhone beta invitation as places open, or choose a launch update. The iPhone beta uses Apple's free TestFlight app and requires iOS 26.

My picks say LOCKED. Can I change them?

No. Picks lock for everyone at the week's first kickoff and can't be changed after that, by you or by us. Games that haven't kicked off yet are still open until that first kickoff.

I'm not getting notifications.

Open Profile in the app and check the Notifications row. If it says Off, tap it to open iOS Settings and allow notifications for Full Slate. Reminders, pokes, results and the live ticker all need this. The app is fully usable with notifications off.

How is a week scored?

A correct pick at rank R earns R points; a miss earns 0; a tie game earns 0 for everyone. Your week is the sum of your picks, and the season is the sum of your weeks. Ties in the standings break on the Monday-night tiebreaker.

A score looks wrong.

Scores come from a public sports data feed and update within minutes of a game going final. If a game is scored wrong, e-mail us with the pool name and the game and we'll correct the week.

How do I leave a pool?

Open the pool's page and tap Leave pool. Your past results stay on the pool's record. If you run the pool, hand it to another member first.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account. It removes your account, name, e-mail, picks and scores in every pool, and this device's notification registration, immediately. If you'd rather we do it, e-mail support@thefullslate.app from the address on the account.

Is there any money involved?

No. Full Slate never takes, holds, or pays out money and has no purchases. It keeps score; your group keeps the bragging rights.
